Put Co-Valence on your home screen
It takes about a minute. Once it's there, Co-Valence opens like an app with one tap, ready whenever you need it. Open this guide on your phone or tablet and follow the steps for your device.

Open Co-Valence in Safari
Type app.co-valence.com into the address bar and let the page load. Sign in now, so you stay signed in later.
Tap the Share button
It's a square with an arrow pointing up, along the bottom of the screen. On newer iPhones it sits inside the three dots menu (bottom right): tap the dots first, then Share.
Choose “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll down the list that pops up until you see Add to Home Screen and tap it. If it isn't there, tap More or Edit Actions at the bottom to find it.
Tap “Add”
You can rename it if you like. If you see a switch called Open as Web App, leave it on. Then tap Add in the top right corner.
Open Co-Valence in Chrome
Type app.co-valence.com into the address bar at the top and let the page load. Sign in now if you can.
Tap the three dots
The menu button is the three dots stacked on top of each other, in the top right corner next to the address bar.
Tap “Add to home screen”
Scroll the menu to find it. On some phones it's called Install app instead, which does the same thing.
Tap “Install” or “Add”
Confirm in the box that appears. If your phone asks again, tap Add to home screen or drag the icon to where you'd like it.
You'll know it worked when…
The Co-Valence icon appears on your home screen alongside your other apps. Tap it once to check it opens. Now you're ready to go!
I can't find the option
- iPhone: make sure you're in Safari, not inside another app such as email or LinkedIn. If the page opened inside another app, tap the compass or “Open in Safari” option first.
- iPhone: Private browsing can hide the option. Switch back to a normal tab.
- Android: make sure you're in Chrome. If the page opened inside another app, tap the three dots there and choose “Open in Chrome”.
I use a different browser
- Chrome on iPhone: tap the Share button in the address bar, then Add to Home Screen.
- Samsung Internet: tap the three lines at the bottom right, then Add page to, then Home screen.
- Anything else: look in the browser's menu for “Add to home screen” or “Install”. If you get stuck, email us and we'll help you sort it.
